Your Career Start at diva-e

All training programs have a duration of 3 years, but can be shortened with corresponding performance.

The training consists of both a theoretical (school-based) and a practical part. Classroom instruction alternates with practical phases. Depending on the training program, vocational school, and location, there are different models, such as block teaching or spending several days a week at the training company and the remaining days at school.

How your training will unfold depends largely on the specific apprenticeship you choose. However, one thing is certain: an apprenticeship with us doesn't involve making coffee or copying documents (we actually have fantastic coffee machines in our kitchens). Instead, you'll be involved in day-to-day business from the start, where you can showcase your skills and ideas in a variety of exciting and diverse projects. Here, you'll find a selection of projects we've implemented for both large and small clients in the past.

But don't worry, we won't throw you in at the deep end. When you start with us, you'll first receive comprehensive onboarding, during which you'll get to know diva-e and your colleagues in detail. Plus, you'll have a dedicated contact person by your side at all times throughout your training.

Especially at the beginning of your apprenticeship, we have regular feedback sessions to ensure that everything is going well for both sides and that you feel comfortable with us. Additionally, there are other meetings where we discuss your current training progress, your development, and your satisfaction with the apprenticeship.

The level of responsibility we entrust to you during your apprenticeship depends on your competencies and will grow as your training progresses and as you develop individually.

During exam periods, which can often be stressful, we do our best to support you and give you enough time to prepare for your exams.

As a multifaceted company (with expertise in areas like UX/UI design, strategic consulting, SEO, SEA/PPC, digital analytics & content marketing, software development – just to name a few), you’ll also have the opportunity to explore various related fields and see where your path might lead after your apprenticeship. Depending on the situation, you might even get to experience different locations and gain valuable insights there.

An internship, a student job, or even support for your thesis with us is possible if you...

When you start with us, you will first receive comprehensive onboarding, during which you’ll get to know diva-e and your colleagues in detail. Additionally, you’ll have a dedicated contact person by your side throughout the entire time. The intensity of the onboarding phase and the tasks we entrust to you will greatly depend on your experience and knowledge.

You can push Excel sheets, make copies, or brew coffee elsewhere. Here, you’ll be involved in day-to-day business from the very beginning and will have the chance to showcase your skills and ideas in a variety of exciting and diverse projects.

After just two weeks of working together, we’ll start having regular feedback sessions with your team leader and HR colleagues. This way, we can ensure that you feel comfortable with us and that everything is running smoothly. Additionally, after three months, we’ll have another meeting to discuss your development and future perspectives. If everything fits well for both sides, you could be on the path to starting your career in an exciting industry.

You’ll work on diverse projects and take on a variety of tasks, where you’ll continuously learn new things “on the job.” We always strive to support you in balancing your personal life and work as best as possible, for example, by considering your exam periods when planning your work hours.

As a multifaceted company, you’ll also have the opportunity to explore various related fields to see where your career might lead after graduation.

The duration of the internship also depends on you. A minimum of six months would be ideal, but shorter periods are also possible. During the internship, you’ll work 40 hours a week. As a working student or while working on your thesis, the number of weekly hours depends on your availability. However, working more than 20 hours a week is not possible for working students, except during semester breaks. Especially during exam periods, we try to support you as much as possible with flexible scheduling.

We always aim for a long-term collaboration. The retention rate for working students and interns is around 80%, and many of our employees started with us through an internship, student job, or thesis work. So, if performance and chemistry are a match, the chances for a full-time position at various locations and in different areas are very good.

Getting to know all areas of work at diva-e.

• Tested guiding questions for each work area to help achieve training goals.

• Shadowing on various projects where you will alternate between working independently and under guidance (from a mentor).

• The idea is that during the practical phases, you can choose the work area based on your personal preferences.

A trainee program with us after graduation is possible if you...

• have successfully completed a bachelor's or master's degree (or even if you haven't completed it) or if you're a curious career changer,

• are open to new experiences, outgoing, and reliable, and enjoy working both in a team and independently,

• are passionate about digitalization and e-business and want to actively develop yourself further in these areas.

As a trainee at diva-e, you won’t be squeezed into a rigid, pre-defined program. Instead, we tailor the program to your experiences, interests, and skills. The duration of the trainee program also depends on the field you wish to start in and your level of knowledge. When you begin with us, you’ll first receive comprehensive onboarding, during which you’ll get to know diva-e and your colleagues in detail. Additionally, you’ll have a mentor as a dedicated contact person throughout the entire program. The intensity of the onboarding phase and the tasks we assign to you will greatly depend on your experience and knowledge. Your mentor will explain exactly how your trainee program will proceed and what the first steps will be. From the very beginning, you’ll be involved in day-to-day business: you’ll quickly be given responsibilities and receive your first projects and tasks. We don’t have long theory phases at the start of our trainee program.

It's important to us that you feel comfortable during your trainee program. That’s why, within the first few weeks and months of our collaboration, you’ll have regular feedback sessions with your mentor. After the probation period, regular employee meetings will take place, where we’ll discuss your development and satisfaction.

The duration of your trainee program is typically between six months and two years, depending on the field you’ll be working in and the experience you bring with you. You can complete the trainee program full-time (40 hours/week) or, if you're pursuing a part-time degree, with a reduced number of hours by arrangement.

We always aim for a long-term collaboration. The goal is for you to use the trainee program as a direct (or lateral) entry into your preferred area of responsibility and to find your professional home with us.
